- Record Gain on Bottling Run: Today we are celebrating the release of a deeply cool new feature we've developed for you! As of right now, users can log a Gain on their Bottling Runs if they wind up with more units packaged than anticipated. Review our Support article here for the skinny on the complete process: Bottling: Record Gain during Bottling Run (Read Time: 2 mins)!
Why would someone need to Record a Gain during Bottling, you may ask? Well, a few reasons; one being imperfect gauging tools (aren't we all) and another being the fact that liquid/sugar additions to alcohol often yields strange, unexpected results. For a resource on working with Sugars or Simple Syrups in Dx5, check out this article: Operations: Using Simple Syrup and Flavorings.
It's basically my job to remind everyone that only users with a thorough understanding of Federal Reporting Gains/Losses should accept these Bottling Gains, however Dx5 users with any level of access can technically Confirm them in the system. Users with questions about logging a Bottling Run Gain can reach out to us via firstname.lastname@example.org for help.
