Sourced Bourbon
Let's say you are sourcing Bourbon in barrels, and you intend to age it for a while before bottling it. Here's how that Batch Type might look:
House-Made Bourbon

Grain Neutral Spirit
Many distilleries source "GNS"/"NGS" and use it for various end products including Vodka, redistilled Gin, and compounded products that you blend in Processing. Rather than enabling the bottling of GNS, we recommend building a "Vodka" Batch Type. This allows you to document transformation from GNS to Vodka in your Processing account.
Here's what a Sourced GNS Batch Type might look like:
Flavored Vodka
For this example, let's assume that you are producing a flavored Vodka by adding sugar, flavor extracts and coloring materials to Grain Neutral Spirit. This Batch Type should only be enabled in Processing, since that's the only liquid account where you can legally perform those operations:
