We're pleased to announce some significant improvements to the Fill New (Unnamed) Barrel form!
Previously, you had to perform one Barrel Fill operation for each lot of barrels that you filled. For example, if you had multiple different sizes of barrels or different barrel stocks (like Char 3 & Char 4), you had to fill them separately and sequentially when recording your operations. This was also the case if you wished to specify multiple/differing Batch Types for some of the barrels, or if you wanted to place barrels in multiple different Rackhouses.
The form now allows you to specify multiple distinct lots to be filled from the same tank at the same time. This increased flexibility should reduce data entry time and improve the consistency and quality of records, for those who perform fills of this nature.
Note that the "Divide Volume" function disappears when selecting "+ Fill More Barrels".
See the screenshot below for an example of filling both 53 gal and 30 gal barrels at the same time, with different batch types and different destination warehouses:
Remember that Lot IDs should be appended with an "A", "B", "C", and so on if you are filling multiple lots in one day. See 27 CFR 19.485 for more information on Lot ID requirements.
