Billing Freeze
Whether it's a major equipment installation, a summer shutdown, or a full facility move, there are times when it just doesn't make sense to continue paying for a system you can't use. To avoid an early termination fee during a service term, Fx5 is happy to offer a short-term billing freeze (up to 3 months) to allow you a pause in billing while you aren't operating. This type of service pause ensures your data is maintained and your system updated while you aren't using it, rather than being archived in a cancellation.
With a billing freeze, access to Dx5 is restricted and the duration of the pause is simply added to your active service term so that you aren't financially burdened but maintain the service – and regular system maintenance – included in your active agreement. Maintenance Mode
Just like a billing freeze, but for month-to-month users. When service is cancelled, Dx5 systems are archived, meaning that the data isn't maintained and the system doesn't receive regular updates (which can be problematic if a partner distillery wants to utilize the same system at a future date. To avoid any unintended consequences, Fx5 is happy to offer a low-cost maintenance option to reduce financial responsibility while you aren't utilizing the system

Utilization Consult
It's frustrating to feel like you're paying for something you aren't fully utilizing, and FIVE x 5 Consulting is happy to help. In a utilization consult, a Fx5 consultant will check your system to identify any usage trends, then sit down with your key stakeholders to identify specific pain points, knowledge gaps, or training needs. You'll walk away with a deeper understanding of Dx5 and how it can make it easier for you make great things.

Cancelling Service
If none of the other options fits your needs, we'll be happy to help you move off of Dx5 in whatever ways we can. Please schedule time with us here to discuss the process of cancelling, or read on for terms and limitations!

Annual Service Agreements
For Fx5 users on an annual service agreement, an early termination fee may apply per the Fx5 Terms & Conditions. Early termination fees are equal to 50% of the remaining service term, plus any previously-granted discounts.
To cancel service on an annual agreement, Fx5 requires 45 days' notice prior to the effective date of cancellation.

Month-to-Month Service
For Dx5 users on month-to-month service, no early termination fees apply. We ask for 30 days' notice to cancel service but are happy to process cancellations as soon as we're able.
