Recalibrating a batch is simple a way to adjust your batch in DISTILL x 5 to match the real life volume and/or alcohol content of your batch on the floor. It can be used in place of cutting a batch, though it won't calculate the water addition.
In Storage and Processing only, recalibrations which result in a gain or a loss will be automatically recorded as applicable in your Dx5 Federal Reports.
To complete a recalibration:
- Navigate to Batch Actions > Recalibrate.
- Enter the recalibrated batch details by overwriting the current values displayed in either the Volume or Alcohol Content fields, or both if applicable.
- Submit the changes and acknowledge the gain/loss to be logged, if appropriate. Only batches active in Storage or Processing will record a gain/loss on Federal Reporting.
Notes: Recalibrations to 0 volume at 0 proof are restricted - if a user needs to void the entire contents of a vessel, a Dump should be performed.
